A subscription for every addiction

We have all heard about those subscription boxes. There are only about a thousand of them out there. I am not sure when they became popular, or if they ever did. I of course like many people have thought about signing up for one or two over time. But I would always back out of doing that due to the cost of them. Now don't get me wrong, they are not all expensive, and what is expensive to me may not be to you. It all depends on what you place value on. I have trouble placing value on things. Especially things I won't use much or are just nick

-knacks. Most of the boxes I looked at were of a sci-fi nature. Because well of course, what else would I get. Well…

This Fathers day I got a subscription box for runners. I knew there was such a thing, but of course it was always the price that kept me from getting it. Basically because of my assumptions that the items in the boxes were all sample sizes or things I wouldn’t use because I am a simple guy who uses what I like and I am not much for trying new things. Like most people on the spectrum. But I was really surprised when I actually got the box and opened it. Now from here on out I may sound like a commercial for The Runner Box, but I assure you I don’t and do not speak for the brand or the company.

The items that came in the box were not all fancy and things I would never find around my area. I have a complete list of items at the end of this post. To start I was really impressed that the vitamins that came in it, was a full 30 day supply. The drink powders of which there were two different kinds, each had samples enough for 5+ glasses of each drink, not just one. The face scrub was a regular sized bottle, not a 3inch tall sample, same for the lotion. So I was really impressed with the amounts of products that were supplied with this subscription box. It also included an insert that lists all the products supplied in the box along with their websites and discount codes for most of them if you want to order more.
